Tunneling: If you extinguish the flame before the melt pool reaches the sides of the container. Totally okay for the first few burns but, after that you will want a fully developed melt pool to get the full life of the candle. (Max. 4 hours per session)
Rough Top After Burning: This happens with natural soy wax when the melt pool cools and solidifies at an inconsistent rate. It wont effect how the candle burns or smells.
Frosting: All soy wax will frost over time, but luckily frosting is solely an aesthetic issue and does not affect the way your candle burns or smells.
Soot: This is a sign that your candle wick is too long. Remember to always trim the wick before each burn. (1/8"-1/4")
